ruthiestump | 10 day iPod shuffle challenge (That I do in one day.....)

These challenges are really fun! I don't usually talk about myself on here and I haven't been posting much so the challenge are a good way to talk about myself. You know, because you really have a genuine interest in my life. :| Anyway, take a look into my music sense and my thought process. Feel free to take the challenge because I found it here. Pretty Handsome Awkward by The Used.
-It doesn’t hold significance in my life other then the fact that it’s a good fucking song. I guess the reason why it’s in my iPod is that the video for the song was really cool and somewhat disgusting from what I can remember.

First song to come on your shuffle that makes you happy; why does it make you happy?

The Kids From Yesterday by My Chemical Romance. (9^th song)
-Whenever I listen to this song, I feel like I’m in a room by myself staring at a huge screen that’s playing my memories of me and my family/friends. It’s only showing the good memories, the cheesy ones where everyone is laughing and smiling. This song reminds me of the good memories. I’m going to be applying to college soon and then I’m going to GO to college and that’s pretty fucking scary. I just want bask in happy memories when I’m listening to this song. ♥

First song to come on your shuffle that makes you sad; why does it make you sad?

What We Will Never Know by Innerpartysystem (36^th song)
-It’s just a sad song… The tempo and the lyrics are just so somber. “I want to believe in someone. I want to believe in something. I want to believe that I can love again.” It brings me down sometimes but it acts like a reality check sometimes.

That’s somewhat of a positive message for me, don’t you think? To me, it’s kind of like a ‘fuck you, I’m doing me’ type thing or in simpler terms: ‘I am who I am. Don’t try to change me.’

-The only thing that sticks out today was when Amanda tried really hard to find out what’s wrong with me and I just didn’t want to tell her. I don’t want to make her feel bad with my problems (which aren’t even problems. They are a just petty annoyance that I can keep to myself and that’s what I do.). She felt crappy after that, I could tell, but that’s how I am! I keep to myself. “I’ve got troubled thoughts and a self esteem to match. What a catch.”

-Gone is a sad love song but a love song nonetheless. This is what you get when you’re not that specific. No significance. Not really. Just a bunch of sister bonding over this band. ^_^

-May 22^nd 2009 will always be in my heart. I don’t give a fuck if it was only for the Today show and not a real show but it was my first and only time (so far) that I saw them live. ♥

-Yes, I have the Jonas Brothers on my iPod. Now let's move on. Any song that tells you to hang it there, it will get better speaks to me because this is what I would say to ANYONE who needs to hear it. :)
